We started as a one-man reshipper on Discord.
We're still building the same thing: shipping that costs less and works better.
Our story
Shipmunk was founded in 2021 by a software engineer who was frustrated by the price of shipping and the quality of service he received. He had a fascination with supply chain as well, and saw how much of the cost and delay came down to how parcels were routed, consolidated, and handed between carriers.
What began as a private reshipper on Discord, serving Australian customers in the footwear and e-commerce industry, grew by word of mouth. He knew there had to be a better way, so he built it: a service that treats shipping as an engineering problem, not a black box.
Today that same approach runs the business. We combine technology with hands-on logistics to give you clear, upfront rates and a real person to talk to when something needs sorting. Our platform gives you real-time visibility and the confidence that your goods are in good hands.
